"When I become a millionaire, I’ll be a success."

"When I get that next promotion, I’ll have made it."

"When I pay off the mortgage, I’ll finally be free."

"When I win the lottery, I’ll have no more worries."

"When I find my perfect life companion I’ll finally be whole."

I have good news and bad news.

The bad news is, we never arrive. We only arrive once in our life. That’s the moment we are born. In between our arrival and our departure, there are only milestones. We might something think of them as arriving, but we always move on from them, onto the next leg of our journey.

So what’s the good news? You have arrived here to do something. Something great, something special. Something far bigger than you may even think you are capable of in this present moment.

The fact is, you have already arrived. You showed up here.

Don’t focus on arriving. Focus on exploring – exploring why you are here, and what you are meant to be doing with the talents you have been given.

Celebrate the milestones, be present and enjoy the journey, but strive to never arrive.
